Ellicott hydraulic cutter suction dredges are conventional dredges with rear anchor spuds and swing wires for positioning the dredge and cutter. Ellicott CSD’s are used in various applciation including sand and gravel dredging, mining, dams, coastal restoration, river maintenance, land reclamation, island building and dredging ports and harbors. Ellicott provides a broad range of CSD’s that have more horsepower at the cutterhead and can excavate harder materials and excavate more consolidated deposits. Ellicott dredges can be used for smaller scale operations all the way up to coastal restoration and island building operations.
