IMS Dredge, Division of Ellicott Dredge Enterprises, has just released these beautiful photos of their IMS DM-60 Depth Master working in a reservoir in Guatemala.
The DM-60 was chosen for its ability to create an even bottom profile in the dam instead of creating a moonscape in the bottom using a hanging pump system which is ineffective in consolidated materials.
The DM-60 is in a mountainous region of Guatemala and the dredger was delivered on two trucks six years ago and has been successfully operating since.
IMS Dredges specializes in the design and construction of one truck transportable, self-propelled dredging systems.
